Lithium Australia Progresses into Final Phase of LieNA®

Release Highlights:

• Lithium Australia has successfully completed the initial stage of LieNA® piloting with Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes) at ANSTO, producing an intermediate product used as a key input in the final LieNA® pilot plant, which is set to commence in late June 2024.
• Following the completion of key piloting and study activities in 2024, Lithium Australia and MinRes plan to form a 50:50 joint venture to commercialize the LieNA® technology through a licensing model, expecting to license it to third parties at a target gross product royalty rate of 8%.
• The completion of the first phase of LieNA® piloting at ANSTO marks significant progress towards the commercialization of the technology, with further updates on piloting operations and the demonstration plant engineering study anticipated in the coming weeks and months.
