Report Highlights:

• Altech Batteries Ltd. (ASX: ATC) has made significant strides this year with its CERENERGY® Sodium Chloride Solid State (SCSS) Battery Project. The 120 MWh battery plant, outlined in its March 2024 Definitive Feasibility Study, shows excellent economics. With the first 60 kWh (ABS60) battery pack prototype in production and undergoing testing, Altech is now focusing on securing offtake agreements and financing for large-scale grid storage solutions.
• Altech’s 1 MWh GridPack (ABS1000) battery system is designed for industrial-scale applications, providing uninterrupted power for grid operations and contributing to energy stability. The system, free from lithium, cobalt, and copper, operates at a nominal voltage of 600V and targets the growing renewable energy storage market with minimal maintenance and no noise, making it ideal for residential and noise-sensitive environments.
• The Silumina Anodes™ project in Germany continues to progress, with a completed pilot plant set to produce 120 kg/day for customer testing. Altech’s pilot plant is poised to support full-scale production following the promising EUR 684M NPV outlined in the project’s December 2023 feasibility study.
